Here is what all they are giving away:
Pursuing a Deeper Faith by Dr. Charles Stanley. This is one of his books in the In Touch Study Series. In Pursuing a Deeper Faith, Dr. Stanley shares God’s invitation to grow in a heart relationship with Him, to hear His voice speaking to your spirit daily, and to feel a deep assurance that you are “locked into” a forever relationship that cannot be severed. This book is great for individual or group study!
Also is the pocket sized book by Randy Alcorn, Heaven. In this book Randy Alcorn gives biblical answers to common questions about Heaven. Very good!!
And finally, a beautiful bookmark that reads, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust.” Psalm 18:2.

In Persuit Of Proverbs 31 and Holiday Traditions
The blog site, In Persuit Of Proverbs 31, is having a giveaway. They are giving away a HD DVD player. Check our their site to see what you need to do.
Ok I am jumping on the band wagon a bit late here due to severe nerve pain. But here goes...
My favorite holiday tradition is our Christmas Eve party. All year round, all us relatives are too busy to get together at the same time. This once yearly get together assures that we still see each other then. Each of us brings a favorite item and we socialize and binge like there is no tomorrow. It is so wonderful to catch up with everyone!

A Blurb About "How It Is"
Rarely do I post anything substantial here. But today, I felt like posting a little something about "How It Is". Life is what you make of it. Enjoy every precious moment and stop to smell every flower. If you look close enough, there is something special in everything you do.
Life just isn't about rushing off to work and fighting traffic. Then coming home to chores and duties. Something as simple as listening to your favorite CD or audioboook, while driving to work, makes it something to look forward to. Or what about dinner? Why kill yourself if you are short on time. Get take out. Taking your child to band practice? Why drive back and forth 2 times. Park your car and read your favorite book or knit some socks.
Your life will be exactly the blueprint that you draw. So why draw mundane plans? Spicen it up and add some rollar coaster dips every once in a while!
Your life is what you make it. So plan ahead for a awesome trip!

Win A Nintendo Wii And Help The A-T Cure Team
Hey folks how would you like to Win A Nintendo Wii? Just visit this site and see what you need to do. But most importantly, you can make a difference!
Ultra-runner Tim Borland is running 63 marathons in 63 days in order to raise funds and awareness for the A-T Children’s Project in their quest for a cure or life-improving therapies for ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T). A-T is a rare, neurodegenerative disease that affects children, giving them the combined symptoms of cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, and cancer. Children with A-T — born seemingly healthy — are usually dependent upon wheelchairs by the age of 10 and often do not survive their teens.
To run with Tim, join a tailgate party, or make a donation, please visit the A-T CureTour website. There, you can also view the daily video blog produced by filmmakers who are making an independent documentary on the A-T CureTour and enter a contest to Win a Nintendo Wii.

Do You have A Spare Paper bag? Parent Bloggers Wants To Know Your Biggest Beauty Blunder.
Harper Collins and Beauty Confidential are sponsoring a great contest at Parent Bloggers. They want to know what was your biggest beauty blunder. One that made you yearn for a paper bag. they are giveing out some specatcular beauty prizes. So make sure you chck it out before November 2 is over!
My beauty blunder came to me immediately. It was from back in my late teenage years. My best friends mother decided that she needed to look more like a girl. So she took her to an expensive makeup counter for an overhall. Since she was quite a bit broken out, and freckly, anything truely was an improvement. Ouch... Good think she doesn't know I have a blog. But for myself, my complexion was often complement on. Little makeup was truely best. anyways the vultures at the counter took over my face for 15 minutes. When they were done, I looked into the mirror to see what looked like a $15 hooker. YUK!!!! I tried to wipe much of it off, but it was caked on too thick. So I had to hide my face in shame until I got home.
